The Joseph Pride-trained More Than Ready mare Patronyme returned to winning form on Saturday when she claimed a commanding victory in the $125, 000 Group 3 Cleanevent Birthday Card Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill.
The five-year-old was coming off a listless last place finish in the Wiggle Quality Handicap (1400m) at Rosehill, but atoned for her terrible performance by beating home all of her rivals in the 2010 Birthday Card Stakes.
Winner of the Triscay Stakes (1200m) two starts back, on Saturday Patronyme ($6) defeated the Peter Snowden-trained Beaded ($4), who did well to come from close to last to finish second, by half a length with the $2.90 favourite Melito hanging on for a close third.
Partronyme has now won six of her 13 career starts for $315, 950 in prizemoney

Meanwhile, Zabrasive took out the feature race at the meeting when the Zabeel gelding defeated Rock Classic by a mere nose in the $500, 000 Group 1 Rosehill Guineas (2000m).
