Nominations have been released for the 2012 Birthday Card Stakes, which is due to run at Rosehill racecourse this Saturday March 31, 2012.

Satin Shoes is nominated for a start in the 2012 Birthday Card Stakes.

The three-year-old filly is also nominated for a run in the Group 2 Challenge Stakes and the Listed Darby Munro Stakes, with trainer Clarry Conners yet to make a final decision.

With Hay List now set for the Challenge Stakes, Conners may only have two race options.

“I will have to sit down and study the nominations and the weights and think about where she goes,” Conners said.

“None of them are easy races and the Challenge is harder now that Hay List is in.

“I had eliminated him from the equation.”

Satin Shoes finished second in the Group 2 Centrebet Classic last start at Morphettville and will be looking to go on towards the Group 1 The Galaxy on April 21, 2012.

“She has done a treat since then,” Conners said.

“The Galaxy is her main aim and hopefully she can win another race on the way.”

Satin Shoes has won five of her 14 race starts and has earned close to $550,000 in prize money during her career.

Curtana, Graceful Anna and Divorces are also included I the 2012 Birthday Card Stakes nominations.
