Three runners currently share the top line of 2016 Birthday Card Stakes betting with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au; Brook Road, Sultry Feeling and Perignon all available at a generous quote of $7 for success.

Brook Road has been a strong and consistent performer for Kris Lees through her entire racing career so far; posting a commendable six wins and six minors through eighteen starts since first appearing on course competitively in 2013.

Capping a strong spring campaign third in the Group 3 Mumm Stakes (1100m) on Crown Oaks Day, the God’s Own mare resumed this time for second in the Get Well Kerrie Wilson BM93 (1100m) on February 20th.

Sultry Feeling has undoubtedly found-career best form to date through recent seasons and represents terrific value for money at her current 2016 Birthday Card Stakes odds.

A strong performer amongst her age group during her early racing preparations, Sultry Feeling resumed in spring for fourth in the Mack Trucks BM85 (1200m) before placing third in the Group 3 Tibbie Stakes (1400m).

Returning to the paddock after placing fourth in the Group 3 Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes (1400m) on November 3rd, the Encosta De Lago mare charged home to win the Group 3 Triscay Stakes (1200m) first-up on February 13th.

Trainer Gerald Ryan has a big opinion of three-year-old Perignon, who also carries winning form into the 2016 Birthday Card Stakes.

Resuming in spring for second in the Group 2 Furious Stakes (1200m), the Snitzel filly progressed to second in the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes (1400m) before running third in the Group 1 Flight Stakes (1600m) on October 3rd.

Having beat a number of notable runners to the line in the Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) first-up on February 13th, Perignon is drawn ideally in barrier 7 and will have no issue performing with only 54kgs in tow.

Griante ($8) and Pittsburgh Flyer ($11) both represent terrific value at current Birthday Card Stakes odds while Bring Me The Maid has cut in from a quote of $16 to figure as clear $13 market mover.
